It’s been a busier than normal week–lots of oddball errands, going to the city to meet the grandfolks for lunch and such…I am so grateful Sabbath is here….ahhh… the feeling of Shalom from The Father!

I am fixin’ to get going on preparations–I am making Enchiladas for Saturday and dh says he would like to BBQ tonight Yes, he BBQ’s in any season!  It’s been VERY VERY windy this week-(took down 3 trees and blew the barn door completley OFF the barn!)-and pretty mild–it’s below freezing now but will jump to almost 50 and sunshine today?! That IS BBQ weather my friend! So that will be really nice! I love my dh’s BBQ chicken! Yum!

We have some tidying up to do around here-with a busier than normal week, some chores get put on the backburner–so today is the day to get caught up!  We have bread to bake today and applesauce to can (we got a LOVELY bushel of ‘PinkLadies’ that will make YUMMY sauce, my grandmother makes her applesauce,which everyone loves) exclusively from “Pink Ladies”, so I am hoping for great results–I’ve never used this variety of apple before, myself–but dh LOVES gramas ’sauce–so… should work out well

Well, I hear little feet running around–must be time to get to the preparations of the day, and a little snugglin’ on the couch and some storytime with my youngin’s (and some more mocha for momma)!
