I always love Fridays! Winding down the week, the preparation for Sabbath…it’s been a very busy week around here, not to mention Shavout this weekend…. so this week I am especially looking forward to the weekend!
This week we sold one of our does, planted 50 lbs of potatoes, canned chicken vege soup, beef stew & bbq beef, Grandma & Grandpa came out one day for a visit, dh ran tons of errands (it was an unusually ‘errand-y’ week around here) in addition to the normal weekly stuff of homeschooling, work, animals etc….just ‘felt’ busy around here.
Today the girls and I are making up Lasagnas — a few pans of each; regular and Gluten Free–a couple for Sabbath–and few for the freezer, we are going to be making up a new recipe for a homemade shampoo that sounds lovely and lots of fun stuff to do in the kitchen for the weekend. We have a gluten free chocolate cake on the list of to-do’s today as well as mini apple and blackberry pies!
We are especially looking forward to Sabbath service, study & worship this weekend and the celebration of Shavuot! I hope your weekend is blessed with the peace and light only the Father can give!
Shabbat Shalom!
~Lisa
