The children and I will spend this week cooking, baking, canning some more pears (just HAD to get some canning in!), and doing some fun crafty things in addition to listening to some audio books, reading and doing a LapBook all centered around Thanksgiving.
We found some fun, simple decorating ideas around the internet as well as some just plain ‘fun stuff’ and we thought we’d share! We have 3 sets of the banner above around our homestead in a couple sizes– it turned out really cute! Grab Yours HERE!
We also have these gorgeous paperchains from Silverbox printed out and are going to be putting them together– not only are they pretty, but practical–with space to write on each one, something or someone you are thankful for– LOVE these!
Looking for some Thanksgiving Greeting cards? Check THESE out!
Here is a page with lots links to fun games and such, to keep everyone smiling!
What table is complete without Placecards!? Here are some fun ones to print out!
I thought these were cute placemats for the little folks– but CLICK HERE and check out this whole set of matching table decor and such–wow–and it’s all free too! (well …. ink and paper do cost–but you get the idea!) NICE!
Last but certainly not least….for something super quick, easy and fun to keep the littles busy while you hammer out that pie crust uninterrupted or with an older child who wants to learn how to make the pies this year— Try the good ol’ coloring sheets– you’ll find a ton of ‘em HERE!
