Life in Pictures…
It seems life stays at a pretty busy clip these days…here is a snapshot of what has been happening at the homestead as of late………
- The book is here! Yay!
My first (in a series) book is out and I am very excited to have it in my hands–! Check it out HERE.
- Awww….the babies are just SO cute!
Kidding season is done here and we have been blessed with 6 kids– 4 does / 2 bucks, gorgeous Nubians (with a little x – Boer in a few!) they are terribly adorable and you just want to keep ‘em all…we’ll be keeping one doeling….the rest we need to find wonderful homes for– email me if you’re interested *hint hint*
- Load of Tamarack!
One of many blessings of living in timber country, working at lumber mill and having friends in the timber industry….a logging truckload of TAMARACK delivered to your homestead. When you heat exclusively with wood– this is a HUGE blessing! HUGE!
- My son brought out his toy logging truck; Daddy showing him how it works………..PRICELESS.
Here, unloaded and back on the road (including time for visiting and ‘shootin’ the breeze’) in less that 45 minutes. RIGHT ON. This is a HUGE blessing to our family! (did I mention that?!)
Then….it all of a sudden got quiet…..really quiet….
and the reality of the enormity of that pile of logs….LOL!
Now to cut, split…and stack… 
All in due season– next we tackle getting raised beds built and the garden in…..never a dull moment here…
