Homemade Bread: Simply Delicious
So, when I hopped on over to Enola’s blog this morning I saw she’d posted a bread recipe– and I LOVE homemade bread. I’ve been looking to change up my staple bread recipe–unless you eat it on day one or two, it gets too crumbly for dh’s sandwiches–he’s picky like that. ;P I’ve been putting off looking around for a new recipe to try–didn’t want to deal with weeks of trial and error, snacks for the chickens and doorstops.
Sooo, when I saw Enola mentioning a “MOIST” loaf…I have to give it a try. That… and it looked so yummy. I was having visions of melting butter and blackberry jam….! I used an organic white/wheat flour I had on hand and it turned out beautifully!!
If it stays as moist as it is right now….we have ourselves a winner folks! How EASY was that?! Thanks for sharing Enola! The ol’ man will be thrilled. Especially considering a sandwich is the staple lunch item he takes to work.
Hop on over to her blog, grab this recipe and make many loaves. MANY. YUM.
Enjoy
Lisa
