Thanksgiving Cheeseball!
This is the perfect compliment to our ‘goodie tray’ of veggies, stuffed eggs and crackers…a hand crafted good ol’ american cheeseball. Actually I don’t truly know the origin of the cheeseball, but I’m thinkin’ it must be american…cheese, nuts, rolled in a ball…it has to be.

Now–gather your fixin’s:
1 brick of cream cheese
1 container of Kakuhuna (I think I spelled that right) Sharp Cheese (in the dairy case by the cream cheesey type stuff)
1t Worchestire (adjust to your taste)
1 good pinch of garlic powder (again…adjust)
1 good pinch of sea salt or Johnny’s Seasoning Salt (if you’re from the Northwest!)
2 or so C of walnuts all crushed up (I give the kids the bag of walnuts (placed INSIDE a ziploc bag) and let them all beat it with wooden spoons
That’s IT. Take a decent sized piece of foil, lay it out on your counter, and then a decent sized piece of saran type wrap and lay it ON TOP of the foil. Grab a bowl and let’s make a cheeseball!

Dump Everything in your bowl…

Just a pinch…;)

Get your walnuts dumped out on your saran/foil …form cheese mixture into a ball…

Pat the walnuts on….

Keep it in the ball shape, while patting on your walnuts or well, it won’t be a cheeseBALL…

VOILA!

Now get rid of any excess walnuts, and use the foil/saran to double wrap it–and hide it in the back of the fridge for Thanksgiving…otherwise, if your house is like mine….there will be some missing when you go to unwrap it on Thanksgiving!
Thanks to my youngest daughter–who actually made this for us as I lazily stood by snapping pictures.
This is a great make ahead goodie–I make mine the day before we are going to devour it and the nuts stand up nicely–don’t get all mushy
YUM, pass the crackers!
Happy Thanksgiving~
